OKTAVEN

OKTAVEN AUDIO

Oktaven Audio is a recording studio in Mount Vernon, New York specializing in classical, jazz, and acoustic recording.  Ryan Streber and I opened it in 2009 to serve the needs of the art music community, first focusing locally, and our reach has grown each year.  The studio features a 1000 sqft live room, a 9' Hamburg Steinway D, and a lengthy list of equipment and microphones.  Ryan is Oktaven's head engineer, and in addition to being our studio manager, I design packaging and digital presence for clients, as well as record on location.  Below you can see some examples of that work.  I also built the studio with my friend, artist Sean Riley.
